Klub Kakofanney
Klub Kakofanney is the longest running music night in Oxford, founded in 1991 by those stalwarts of the Oxford music scene, Phil and Sue. It is held on the first Friday of the month in the Wheatsheaf and typically features four acts for six pounds on the door. It is run on a non-profit basis, by volunteers, and presents eclectic original music featuring bands from Oxford and the surrounding areas. The emphasis is on fun, friendliness and supporting musicians. Bands share their kit where possible. Klub Kakofanney also runs a Sunday afternoon acoustic session in the Wheatsheaf downstairs.
