Initially formed in 2011 as Men Of Ascot, the trio consisted of a surf guitar enthusiast, a powerhouse drummer, and a bouncing bass player. Playing a montage of instro surf, 60s garage rock, and galloping horse-like rhythms, they dubbed this equine surf and changed the band name to Horse Rock. Confusingly, the band plays its gigs wearing wrestling masks.
