Linda Serck hosts BBC Introducing for Radio Berkshire, interviewing local musicians, reviewing new music, and covering the Reading area gig scene. It is broadcast on Saturday nights, 9pm to 10pm on 102.9 FM, and is available on iPlayer.


 

BBC Oxfordshire Introducing, Oxford

BBC Introducing in Oxford is the show for unsigned, undiscovered and under the radar music, discovering the best acts in and around Oxfordshire. Hosted by Dave Gliyeat, it is broadcast every Saturday at 8pm on 95.2 FM, and is available on iPlayer.


 

Daily Information

For half a century, Daily Information has been advertising the things going on in Oxford. Originally it was a poster put up each day in pubs and cafes around town. Now it is a website where, as well as finding adverts for gigs, you can also find listings for clubs, discos, theatre, cinemas, places to eat, rooms to rent, services offered and items for sale.


 

Nightshift Magazine, Kidlington

Nightshift Magazine is one of backbones of the Oxford music scene with listings, news and reviews of local bands and artists. Published monthly since 1995,it is still FREE and copies can be picked up from most of the music venues around Oxford. The latest issue can also be downloaded FREE from its website.


 

Oxfordshire Music Scene Magazine

An A5 colour music magazine for the Oxfordshire area published by Back And To The Left publishing. It has a quarterly print run of five thousand copies and is distributed free in the Oxford area.


 

Pink Badger Online Magazine, Oxford

Publishes original articles, news, and reviews about events and artists on the Oxford indie music scene.


 

Radio Bicester, Bicester

Launched in 2012 and located in Crown Walk, Radio Bicester is an independent media organisation and internet radio station which gives a voice to the people of Bicester. It puts on two gigs a month at the Bell, an acoustic Sunday and a rock Thursday.


 

The Oxford Times

The Oxford Times, and its sister publication, The Oxford Mail, under the leadership of Features and Music Editor, Tim Hughes, gives good coverage to the local music scene.
