John Coffey

John Coffey is a laid-back five-piece hard rock band from Netherlands, which is big in Germany and the Benelux countries, and played at the Wheatsheaf, in an exploratory first UK tour. Asked if the band had enjoyed the gig, guitarist and band manager Carsten said "For sure, especially since this is the first time coming over,... we didn't expect people to go so wild yet". But for sheer class, you've just got to watch the video of their performance at Pinkpop 2015, at which lead singer Achten was crowd-walking when someone threw a cup of beer at him.
